COMPOSERX TESTIMONIALS, REVIEWS & BEFORE-AND-AFTER DISCLAIMER

Effective Date: May 19, 2026  •  Last Updated: May 19, 2026

1. Where We Feature Testimonials and Reviews

ComposeRx features customer reviews, testimonials, influencer content, dermatologist commentary, before-and-after photographs, and other user-generated content across our website, social-media channels, emails, SMS communications, advertising campaigns, and other marketing materials.

2. Individual Results

Testimonials, reviews, and before-and-after photographs reflect individual experiences and cosmetic outcomes achieved by specific users. Results may vary significantly from person to person; typical results may include little or no result. No testimonial, review, or photograph should be interpreted as a guarantee, promise, or representation that any individual will achieve the same or similar results.

3. How We Handle Reviews

We follow the FTC's Rule on Use of Consumer Reviews and Testimonials (16 CFR Part 465). Specifically:

  • We do not write or commission fake reviews, and we do not use AI-generated reviews that are not based on the authentic experience of a real customer.

  • We do not solicit reviews from company insiders without disclosure of their relationship to ComposeRx.

  • We do not condition reviews, incentives, or compensation on the consumer's review being positive.

  • We do not suppress, hide, or remove negative reviews except where they violate the moderation criteria below.

  • Moderation criteria. We may decline to publish or may remove a review that (a) contains profanity, harassment, threats, or hate speech; (b) discloses personal or third-party medical or financial information; (c) is unrelated to the product reviewed; (d) appears to be a fake, duplicated, or automated submission; or (e) violates law.

4. Influencer, Affiliate, and Compensated Endorsements

We require every paid endorser, affiliate, ambassador, or employee who promotes our products on social media to clearly and conspicuously disclose the material connection using "#ad," "Paid partnership," or a platform-standard tag placed before any embedded link or any "more" truncation. Where a dermatologist or other professional appears in our materials and has a compensated relationship with ComposeRx, that relationship is disclosed on the page or post where the endorsement appears.

5. Before-and-After Photographs

Before-and-after photographs depict authentic results achieved by individual users under typical-use conditions or under controlled testing conditions, as noted on the page where the images appear. Lighting, framing, cropping, and color adjustments may be used for consistency of presentation; they are never used to add, remove, intensify, or diminish the appearance of skin features. Where photographs reflect results from controlled clinical or consumer-perception testing, we identify the testing methodology (in vivo, instrumental, perception-based) and approximate sample size.

6. Clinical and Consumer-Perception Claims

Where we publish a numeric claim such as "82% of users reported softer-feeling skin in 4 weeks," we maintain substantiation files describing the study methodology, sample size, statistical confidence, and study sponsor. We distinguish "clinical" studies (objective measurements) from "consumer-perception" studies (subjective participant reports).

7. Removal Requests

If you appear in user-generated content published by ComposeRx and would like the content removed, please email hello@composerx.com with the subject line "Content Removal Request." We will remove the content from ComposeRx-controlled channels within a reasonable time, generally 30 days, although we cannot guarantee removal from third-party repostings.
